Guest writes "Orange-Fronted Parakeet-The Fight for Survival (2006).

A 2007 update.

I have now made the full documentary available for those who wish to view it or download it in low resolution.
A fascinating 18 minute documentary covering the plight of New Zealand's Orange-Fronted Parakeet. The Orange-Fronted Parakeet could possibly be the first New Zealand bird to go extinct in 40 years

This documentary explores the issues surrounding the parakeet, predators and interventions such as breeding and habitat to keep this bird from extinction. The documentary has been used by NZ National Parks, Conservation Foundation and the Department of Conservation (NZ) for information and promotional purposes.

The documentary is available in quicktime and windows media formats. To view the documentary go to: Click Here

If you wish to purchase a high quality version DVD the price is $NZ19-90 + $NZ5 postage and handing (in NZ) and $NZ8 postage and handling (International).
(Currency Convertor in 'World time' block on the left of this page)

You can contact me via the contact page of my website for purchase arrangements

Enjoy the documentary and I would be keen to hear your thoughts and feedback
