Hi, i have a girl kakariki and the first time she laid eggs (a year ago) she got chronic egg laying. but we fixed it (with help from people here).
She likes exploring the house and playing in cuboards and drawers.
In about december last year she was playing in my drawer. when i opened it later i saw she'd made a nest and i let her go in there for awhile but now whenever i get her out she is flying off me to get there. even if i am in another room she still wants to go back to where her nest is.
this year she has only laid one egg. that was in december sometime, but not in her nest (it was in her cage).
i dont know how long the breeding time is so i dont know if this will stop when thats over but im not sure if i should let her go in there or keep her out can you please help.
