hi every one, how is you all ? i just thought because there seem to be alot off car people on here that i would show you my baby , in saying that i just hope i can up load the pics without stuffing it up.
chilly as i affectionatly call her is my 86 vl v8 belina wagon, i have had her for 8 yrs.
before i owned her she was owned by another 2 previous ladies who loved her as much as i do. she has always been garaged and looked after , when i bought her , i bought her knowing the motor was a bit smoky, so i new a rebuild was on the way.
aprox 4 yrs ago i found some one who i trusted to work on my car as im realy funny about any one touching this car. we pulled down the motor to find out she had never been touched internaly, she had never been bored out before , every thing was standard.
chilly is now bored out to only 30 thousand and fully rebuilt. i did ring the holden car club ,they told me that the car i have is riggy didge v8 belina and because the motor is also original that i should hang on to her, hence the reson she just sits in her own shed , gets started once every couple of months.
usually on 3 turn of the key, she starts ,i let her run for a bit , listen to her lovely sound, then turn her off and put her car cover back on . before the house im in know, i used to be a care taker at a set of industrial units, people thought i was nuts because chilly was inside with me and she had her own pot belly stove, thats no joke.
this car is not allowed out on hot days as it will fade the paint, not allowed out in the wet and the damp as she will rust and she only gets driven by me.
since the motor was rebuilt i drove it enough to run the motor in , wich was done with a hell of alot of patience 40ks, 60ks , 80ks ect. since then shes only been driven about 4 times on long runs of about 1hour each way.
well after all ive spent , $15,000 and thats on nothing special apart from the motor , the rest is on matinence, reg services ect , ive decided if some would like to take over owner ship of this buitiful car, im open to offers, so please pass the word around , i can no longer look after her the way she should be looked after, also my health isnt the best.
i will look at offers over $6000
oh well here goes ill try get these photos up. bye
