I have just recently purchased two female kakarikis Pip and Kiko, both are 6 weeks old and are tame. However Pip seems to be very shy when you let her out the cage she will only sit on top where Kiko will fly around and come and sit with you.
I talk to her alot to try and get her to come away from the cage but as soon as you take her away she panics and flys back to the cage again.
I have also noticed that Kiko seems to be very dominant over pip and she gets very jealouse when you try to go to Pip Kiko will usually bite her. If Pip does get brave enough to come and sit with you Kiko will fly around her and then Pip usually goes back to the cage is there anything i can do to help her?

Also i have been told that female kakarikis do not talk is this true? would be nice to hear from some one who has a female talker as i have noticed most seem to be males that talk.

It would be much appriciated for any advice many thanks
kellie
