Thanks steptoe!...oh and happy new year to Pav and everyone!x

...i have a very large dog cage which i can cover all top and tree sides and just incase the bars are too large i have a smaller grill to cover the remaining side allowing them both to meet in safty..only tempory of course> would this provide a solution to the meet?

I guess it will be the same "keep in cage for few days" as you would ur first..?

supposing they accept each other fine after 7 days would placing them into gether to watch be better so i can interact if all changes...sound better than a free fly too??

well heres hoping for a gr8 union anyway (else i'm off to the shops for another cage Laughing

hi again!
Just thought i'd up date you all, KiKi -my 14wk old finally gave away its sex FEMALE..although she fusses me most, she coo'ed and clucked to me saturday like many others have described ( i was even able to pet and stroke her!)

Ironically she did this less than 10minutes of my new 8wk boy Milo turned up!
OMG..wot a BEAUTY he is! he's already twice the size of my KiKi!!
a big gentle giant.

I did for safety reasons place Milo in the dog cage'set up',which was just as well as although KiKi was facinated by him she was doing allthose eye-changing reactions and at any attempt was trying to bite his belly thru the bars. i dont kno if she was asserting herself or just frustration ..wld the clucking suggest hormonal?

Milo has his own identical cage now with a different set up.KiKi has been alittle frantic but is slowly calming down.

Is there anything i shld look out for ?.......and when and how can i help the bond between them?

sorry for the long-winded saga Rolling Eyes
appreciate any ideas x
