Hi there
really sorry but another question
When my chicks are old enough to leave the nest do i have to put them in a different avairy or can they stay with there parents I would really want them to stay with parents but if this isn't the thing to do then I'll remove them any advice please

They stay with the parants..
When they leave the nest, they still dont have the iris in the eye
This forms about 2 weeks later
During this time the male conyinues to feed/wein them
The female is in the other nesting box, so they dont go there...she defends that real well, may even kill any intruders...on the other hand may not mind ...depends on personality
The problem with leaving the off spring in the same flight, is it can become very difficult to tell who is who.

Generally when all left in a flock, they provide a very stable, entertaining community.

BUT...such a community needs far more maintaince...more regular cleaning, enough and fresh water EVERYDAY day, consistant food supplies
When doing this, seriously think about installing automatic water supply.

thanks so mch
for your help I'll become an expert at the rate I'm going
we do go in there every day and change there food and water and put fresh fruit and veg in there and clean when its needed but at the moment there is only the two of them with there babys so for me this is very exciting when i first saw the first egg i just panicked about everything but now I'm just looking forward to seeing the chicks thanks again
