i'm not a breeder of kakariki, i know many, but most don't have the time to deal with mum-less eggs, so ....

what do i feed them once they hatch? any tips would be helpful, i've hatched eggs before so no worries there.

We have found that the male takes over and raises the chicks
Hand rearing is very time ccnsuming

male back w breeder, have to incubate myself, what do i feed babies once hatched, got any suggestions?

I have never had the time or inclanation to hand rear, nor see any reason to do so to tame birds.

no one in their right mind would incubate eggs, but in my situation there is no way around it, thanks for the input.

Surrogant parents can be burkes, cocketels, red rumps, kings. crimsons, turqs almost any other sort of parrot.

We have a king..quite a bit larger than a kakariki that was brought up with kakariki....hes bi lingual
