HI i have a pair of black eyed clears that are currently sitting when the female comes of the nest the male is sometimes agressive towards her is this common as it is the first time i have bred kakariki's, also when the female is sitting on the eggs you can hear her wingeing noise like when she won'ts the cock bird to mate any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou
Most parrot males tend to get upset when the female comes out of the nest....thu not quite as common with kakariki...the male usually calls the female out at feeding time (when I fill the veggie trays)
Unless he is damaging her, it is not a problem.
Yes the female calls the male from inside the nest, usually calling him to feed her in there. _________________ My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'
