ok..never have birds gone so long without names...I like the name Lani, (i call all my dear friends flowers) and Steps, although L is not used in language the name Lani sat up there with all the rest?

I have two latino's male and female..
I may choose the name MOKO as he has a faint colouration on the tip of one feather on his back.
the female is feisty, Koria> child of the sun ,or Akona> to teach...any suggestions guys..she always has to be first!

might just call her Eve!!???? Think

Anyways- my girls have already decided that our next kakariki must be another girl, and she is to be called Marika, another Maori name.... But I cant remember what it means at this moment! Bum! Haha.

Ive now got 6 Kakis so i thought i'd let you know the names of the new 2. Sunny is female and yellow with a bit of red.
Joey was sold to me as male and is green and yellow mixed ( pied i think you call them)
Most of my older birds get on well with the new ones apart from AJ who has now moved nest and is in it most of the time. No eggs yet but when she comes out she goes and chases the new ones. Joey i got last week and he was in a cage in the avairy so they got use to him, its only AJ that has a go. Could Joey be female or is it because its the newist Kaki. Also would it be too late for breeding now the days are getting shorter etc. If so to calm AJ down should i cover up the nesting boxes.
Fred and Sammy have been mating ans she is taking an intrest in the other nest box. Ideas and advice w3c thanks.
Forgot to say that these are in an outdoor avairy.
