Hi folks , been a fan of Kakarikis for quite some time and am now the proud owner of this pair (below).

Didnt think the girl would breed so fast but I was wrong and she is now sitting tight on 4 ( last count ) eggs , been very lucky here with the weather only going above 30 twice ( went to 38) and of all the parrots I have the Kaks breezed through the heat with plenty of baths and showers along the way .

So I guess Ill be needing some tips on what they will need (extra) .

They are on peachface mix (small parrot with extra milllet basically) good variety of fruit and veg daily , they have access to crushed egg shell , grit mix including charcoal and cuttlebone .

And Ive started giving them boiled egg (mashed with egg/biscuit).

I have no idea about genetics etc. but I was told she is Cinnamin and he is split to pied ...any ideas what that means off spring wise?

Cheers for now and nice to be here.
