forgot to pull the blind down after he had his bath and flew full force into the window. He was motionless for about 2 - 3 hours. Wouldnt eat and wouldnt step up so at first I pout him in his cage, dimmed the lights right down and stuck the cage beside a radiator. Came home (had to bring a relative to the hospital) and he hadnt really done anythng only go to his food dish and water dish.

Was about to put him in the hospital cage and go to the emergency vet in the uni when he flew straight into the hallway and landed on top of the mirror. He was then eating millet in his cage and drinking his water. Seemed more alert so decided to leave him be for the night.

Checked on him when I was going to bed circa 11pm and he was asleep all curled up. Check him again at 3am, still asleep. Checked again at 7am and he was awake albeit cranky as when i put my finger in the cage he went to bite me (he gets cranky in the morning time signlol).

Should I bring him to the vets anyway?

He wont let me near his head so I think that he might have hurt it.

Trev,

have you ever knocked your head as a child?
Or ever had a car accident, or fallen to the floor the hard way?
You feel bruised for a couple of days right?

So... either he has knocked his head badly and he has something serious, in which case a vet won't be able to do much.
Or either he feels bruised/knocked and he's just a bit lethargic and has a bit of pain, which in a couple of days will be over.
I believe it's the second option.

Besides when they have scares like this they get a bit lethargic.

I still remember my gf's sister pulled the budgies tail real hard and the bird sit motionless and speechless for the rest of the evening, just got frightened.

Cheers / Pablo
