I am hand rearing 5 six week old Kakarikis. Yesterday the smallest became lethargic and looked very ill. I removed him from others and put him under a light and have been feeding him via a syringe a watery mix of formula. He is lying on his side and not lifting his head. What more can I do???

not much more other take it to a vet but i fear that will be useless have u checked if the crop is emptying completely or for a doughy residue inside the crop.. it could be a bacterial infection??? if this is the case a vet can try and flush it out with a syringe and solution then followed by a dose ... but ive heard the success of this is very low .... good luck.
