About taming, please use the quicksearch block on the left side of the forum. You'll find many posts/threads with tips/experiences from other members.
Or you could buy an expensive book, a deck chair, and make a cup of coffee...set up the chair in the avairy, or next to your cage, put your hand still in the cage, read the taming book and enjoy your coffee, ignoring the birds...
When you have finished the book, you will realise the birds have come to trust u , friendly....and throw the book away
Use the quick search as Pab says above
And any questions then ask. _________________ My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'
Your little bird has moved 3 times in a short time, From its original owner to the pet shop, then to you. Let it settle in first. It will then become vocal, while its sunny get the cage outside making sure you fastern any openings for extra security, ( i use a bit of garden wire ). If you have a garden put some dandilion leaves and flowers in the cage ( they love them). Avoid any growing near the road side or any where they have been sprayed. Slices of apples, pear, grapes, tomatoes, greens, etc. Kakies love sunflower seeds and dried chillie pepers bought from pet shops BUT these are strickly as a treat, ( see them as chocolate). When you kaki is out of its cage put a large dish ( roasting dish, or a large bowl no more than say 10cm deep) on the floor with cold water in and in time it will have a bath. Make sure you have a towel under the dish as they do like to splash. Good luck
thanks alot for the fast response to my concerns i will do as suggested to me can anyone shed any light on the whimpering noice that it makes when we get close to him just worried about it, is he in pain of some sort or is he lonely
