My pair have just had their first clutch and and one has hatched. I cleaned them out this morning, none had hatched. Then about half an hour ago i heard some little chirps comming from the box, i had a sneak peak. A tinny little red/pinky thing, its moving and is making little noises- is this normal?? In the cage theres mixed fruit and veg covered in cider vinegar mixed with egg food, a few dried meal worms and a bit of cheese as well as cokateil and parrot mix both mixed with parekeet premeium extra vital food. Is this okay and is there anything vital im missing out? Any advise appreciated, many thanks, James :):)

veg covered in cider vinegar

u will note apple cider vinegar is done every 7 to 12 days....I would not be doing so with new chicks
Diet read the thread "what do you feed...."

And leave them be....desturbing them is just that desturbing, worring , panacing, insecurity....understand the implications of the word....and the possible consquinces....step on chicks, damage chicks abanodon chicks want to make a new secure mest.....interrupting feeding sceduls, not feeding well.
