How can I determine how old my kakariki is? in Pet shop I was told I will get 4 months old kakariki from a breeder, but I don't trust them very much. Is there a way to determine age of kakariki?

Unless your are very experianced and familar with kakariki you will not be able to tell a bird older than about a month and one 15 yrs old.
Even then a person very familar will often pick out a kakariki under 12 months or one over 12 yrs ......and that is a combination of body language, behavour more than appearance.

And dont trust a pet shop....yeah thats normal.
