thx for sharing the pics
I don't notice anything strange in any of them. Is your hen now more active and in a better condition (I think you had problems with her being sleepy) _________________ AD ASTRA PER ASPERA
Dont recall having problems with her beeing sleepy?
First day i got her she was just tired i guess from the entire day, first getting to zoo store then someone bringing her someplace else
I had to place millet close to where she was resting so she would eat something, also she didnt mind sleeping with lights off
Second day she started to get more curious and well starting to cautiously exploring and eating normally i guess
Now day 7-8 or so i have released her two days in a row, poor little crazy bird has still problems finding the entrance back so i have to help her a bit (first day i could almost catch her without her resisting). Other then that she seems to already found her favorite exploring spot...tipping all my Warcraft action figures and playing with them
Aside from that she has been starting to mate with the male. Also very chattery with a laughing sound (which i always been curious to what it means)
AND! Cutest of all did see me give my other bird some apple through the cage with my hand so she also wanted to, and she took some bite before heading off
So in short, a VERY VERY docile bird already that i just need to gain her trust cause she seems to be the extremly curious type since i have the other already semi-tamed
u said she likes your warcraft figures and tipping them over
that's why I said "a kakariki playing warcraft"
kakariki have a number of calls, some of them may just be 'chirping' like positioning calls and so, and others may be mating calls
my kakariki spend all day long 'chirping' like communicating with each other, then they have this louder sheep-like call that I guess it's either to call birds further away and maybe to establish pecking order
the mating call is also some sort of chirping _________________ AD ASTRA PER ASPERA

Ive named that "sheep like call" the laughing machinegun, cause it honestly what crossed my mind first time i heard it on my bird 5 years back :\
It wasnt that sound she was making, that sound she just uses during morning etc and during playtime. Otherwise she like a chicken pock-pocking sound around.
The whimper sounds a bit like a dog whimper just shorter, its usually when the male speaks or she gets close to him. Which leads me to think that she is in love <3
