Male has rounder head and broad/larger beak. It is sometimes difficult if the males is undersized, in particular in mutations. My tip: Stay kalm and thake the time. If you can bring him to come closer with sunflower seeds or something else.,you can make a photo . Or load the picture on the pc and modify it. Some birds will come and other will never come. Every bird has his own karakter . I'm hand rearing 2 chicks at the moment, the younger of the 2 ( by 5 days) has a much bigger beak than its older sibling and seems as if its going to be a bigger bird.. Seem to be pure to. There hard to find like that here in Australia.
