If u have good perches..not the dowels supplied with cages but good sized branches..u will not have an issue
It has also been our experiance that when the claws get to long the bird nips them off....and sort of 1/2 break at the same time.
We have never had to trim a parrots claws.

I have read that also, that they chew them off themselves.
When she walks her toes go a slight angel but, this doesn't seem to be hurting her but i wonder if it would be more comfortable for her if they were shorter? I guess she will nip them off if they bother her to much.
