Thank ypu for the updates..Im really interested in following the beak issue , and pics of progess
If u cant load them...email them to me and I will....
Edit: pics uploaded above post by Admin

Yes parrots like all pets can be 'potty' trained.
U notice they do not poop everywhere in a cage or avairy....just 1 0r maybe 2 piles....
Most animals will only poo in places of some saftey and security, including humans..we will only do so at selected others homes..So it is a matter of taking advantage of the instinct...
To do so , and we have only done so with new birds introduced into a home...not birds already established in a home , so Im not sure in this case.
We leave the birds in their cage for a week or so, in a manner that they feel safe, and become terroritoial about the cage.. their bedroom so to speak....so much they get agreesive when it is cleaned out.
Any threat/danger they return to the cage
In the evenings or when lights turned down, they return to roost
And to poo they return...
We have a perch strapped to the cage door for comfort, which they also go back to to poo on a bit of paper on the floor.
They only place they tend to poo in the house is from the top of the backdoor ..when it is open, down onto the draft ledge thing at the bottom of the door.

Cleaning poo up...If the birds are heathy, good diet, the poo tends to be low moisture and dry into a solid lump, which lifts very easy with the vaccuum cleaner off cloth surfaces.
Other sufaces, a little dish wash macine powder disolved in water, couple drops on leave couple minutes , wipe off.

Email link bottom of my posts or web master link top left of each page.
Add the url of this thread to make easier.

NEVER put an email address anywhere on the 'net that can be directly read......Spam Bots and email harvesters scan web sites, pages ..if we didnt take exctra precausions even here 1000s of times a day...it IS a huge issue.
That doesnt mean all emails/links can be scanned....those that are encoded have very little chance of been scaned as they are encoded.
