Hi all;
last saturday night I had to take Tiki to the vet, he was just not his normal self, very inactive, sleeping all day, even trying to sleep while he was hoolding food in his foot, and later that night he had fluid coming out of his mouth, I was very concerned so i rung the vet (This was 10pm) and of course they said to bring him down, but also told me that they don't really deal with alot of birds so may not be able to tell me what was wrong. So we load him up into the car, and he loved the car trip all the way there he was saying "what you doing?" and when he saw other car lights he was saying "Whats that?" he was loving it and he has only been in the car a few times. By the time we got to the vets he was jumping round the cage and was very happy, when the vet came in to look at him she must have thought i was a paronoid pet owner as he was even talking to her and showing off, she told me he looks in very healthy condition and didnt look sick to her at all, how stupid did i feel :oops: .
So we loaded Tiki back into the car and took one very happy bird home again, this car trip cost me $100 to have the vet tell me he is adorable, gee I already knew that signlol, i guess he was bored at home and wanted to go out for a while signlol
