Hi ,i ave been told of a flock of kaks being seen in the glen iris area of melbourne victoria at around 6 am outside a friends father i laws restruant and just thought you would like to know ,i will try and get some more info very soon ,but thought i should let you know before i forgot to mention it .
I had heard rumours some yrs ago about a wild flock in Melboune, but could never find out any more...

I spoke to a freind today and he tells me there is a flock living in South East Queensland as well. I can,t imagine it would be to hard for the kakas becoming estabished in our climate. I think they would be very suited to our woodlands and national parks. Cheers Kevin
