I have read in so many places, net books of feeding arrowbiskets....and no why Shocked
So like the avocado thread where members are actually not taking things at face value and finding out the why

So have done a bit of digging.
Arrowroot is the root processed to get the starch (flour) out of it.
This was used by Sth American Indians as a flour/cooking
It is called arrowroot cause they also used it to as a poultice to draw the poison from arrows and bites....thu there is nothing top support it actually did ??????

I then found out that arrowroot biscuits are made of the arrowroot flour...
But more often than not ordinary flour is also used
If pure arrowroot is used the flavour is sweet enough as to not need to add sugar, or very little to the mix.
I believe the lack of sugar is what maybe the reason for arrowroot biscuits.

But there is more..
The arrowroot is from the good old canna Lilly which is not really a Lilly.
There are many varieties, and ornament canna species...The flowers stems leaves and roots are all edible and used as stock food. The one used to harvest, just has big roots...The root is editable raw.
The starch from the canna root (arrowroot) is particularly large in size, just visible, if you dont have eyes like mine Crying or Very sad
This is good, but dont know why yet.

So I suppose the reason to feed arrowroot biscuits is because they fit what would be base formula for the idea of the idea Parrot Biscuit recipe.

Anyone got any other ideas

Maybe a few Biscuit recipes?

I think the main reason for adding arrowroot flour to biscuits is that it works like cement. Such biscuits do not crumble like ordinary biscuits. There is verry little needed to have a strong effect. http://www.nicecupofteaandasitdown.com/biscuits/previous.php3?item=42
