Hi all I have heard that kakariks love to eat chillies and that it also helps control worms. Is there any truth to this and can they eat the real hot ones Twisted Evil

We have fed both red capsicum and red chilli to our Kakariki. I would suggest you only feed the mild red chilli and in moderation. Our birds usually get these type of foods during the cooler months and only once or twice a week.

Not sure about controlling worms. That would be a question for someone with more experience in feeding these type of foods.
