Hello peoples!
I have a friend who has had a wild colour kakariki for about 8 years now-
I have recently found out that he actually lets his bird OUTSIDE for a fly around!
No cage, no flight, no clipped wings- just an open door and a smallish garden.
He goes out for a fly around for up to an hour at a time, he has been doing it for so long now that he even goes out unattended! He always comes back!
I have only ever heard of this once before, but it was with an very elderly budgie....
Anybody else think this is a rarity??

Yep.....
If u use the quick search block on the left you will see how its done..not hard really, and it should be done...putting cages outside letting them get their bearings, land marks ...just in case.
