Yeah! Thats looks cool! My other half (a mechanic) fixes a mates Reliants for the same kinda thing, they get really smashed up and turned over all the time- part of the fun I suppose! We have a friend who races hovercrafts too. Very messy!

We had two robins ( pigs) racing on the 18th July. They always entertain the crowd.

We are in the middle of a 'project' at the moment - on a Reliant Jimp. Its quite a rarity, so my man is struggling to find parts and often has to make them himself. Its a cutie though, kind of a cross between a beach buggy and a kit car.... Cant wait til its up and running again!

Hi Moko, Found your 'Jimp' reference while searching the net! I'm also a Jimp owner, and I run the Jimp website at www.pkjimp.co.uk . These are such rare vehicles that I'd love to know more details of yours. On the site I have a list and photos of all the Jimps I know of, so maybe your Jimp is on there already? Please take a look, and drop me a line! Sorry to intrude on all the Kakariki discussions! I must confess I've never heard of Kakarikis before, but they look beautiful! Cheers, Stephen

Well...? Is it on there? Can't wait to find out!
If it's not then it's very exciting. It's really rare for me to uncover a 'new' unknown Jimp.
Me (and now the whole Kakariki community no doubt!) are waiting with eager anticipation! How can you keep us waiting?!!

Stephen, just to give a couple of details-
Some of the reg is EVT *** Y. Cant remember the numbers its been that long since we were driving it.
Its a green canvas back pickup, and was last on the road in, I think, 2003.
Its now in storage, and painstakingly undergoing repair, although the canvas roof is no longer.
Any good for ya?
:)

I've got four EVT***Ys on my list, and if it's one of these then going by your description I'm guessing it might be 692? Does that ring a bell?

Hi Moko. Have you found out that number yet? Would love to know it, and any other details of your Jimp too; engine number, chassis number etc. Any photographs would be fab too! If you'd rather not post all that on here then please just drop me a PM, or you can email me from the www.pkjimp.co.uk website. Cheers, Stephen
