w3c and yes he's a male going off his size alone ... a closer look at his beak would confirm it for sure can u upload a better pic.

joey gee is right don't force pair your birds you will get a lot better results letting them choose .... i found this out the hard way it took ages for them to get on and once the hen had mated and layed a clutch she turned her bk on the male ... he didn't like this and then tried to attack her whilst she was sitting her eggs long story short 1 chick hatched and then died.
after that i got 2 hens and two cocks would have preferred more male at the time tho and put them together ... i got 1 pair frm this and they are now on their 3 successful batch since march.
there is alot of threads on here about pairing your kaks frm some really experienced breeders have a good read thru for an hour or two its helped me loads.
