in a cage or flight or avairy?
can u use a net?
A cage, if small enough take the whole cage
If a bit larger.. remove the perches and use a tea towel.. and helps if have an other person on the outside to sort of herd/ keep in in a cnr.

If using a net in a flight or aviary.. get a good sized net 15/ 20" across, preferably a dark green.
Again having a person on the outside to help herd/ contain in an area helps.
let settle a little, take your free hand put above your head, and wave a little.. enough distract, and flick, move the net over the bird, knowing roughly which way he is going to travel.. sort of cut him off ....out smart

If he bites.. just think to your self... "I dont need to go thru this again, nor does he, and it will heal over in a couple days... proud war wound to show at the 'bridge club' "

Eating a bit of cement before hand helps to harden ones self up....well thats what my wife says...I catch them she holds the travelling boxes.. Not talking
