We have our Kakariki, and our gardens....
Then there are these.
1 classic V8 matching #s muscle car well over 350 HP, and the other a boxer 2 cylinder @10HP both I use daily.
Im also in the middle of a ground up resto on another Van, with another in the wings that we intend to Rod out (turn into a Custom hot rod)

Pardon my ignorance (only female after all!) but what is a boxer? (other than the 4 legged variety!). I'm presuming it's the vehicle on the trailer (duh) but, what is it?? It kinda looks like a pommie taxi.
Can you give some details about it?
BTW love the camaro! When I come to NZ I'm gonna look you up for a ride in it!
Both I use daily...walk out to the cars...what today? the 10hp Braddy or the 400hp plus Camaro
its usually the braddy...both are fun to drive _________________ My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'
I have designed it for economy...
With the trailer and Braddy on...I got 22mpg
Around town, short runs, heavy traffic I get 24.4mpg
Thats better than most hi performance jappa 4 cylinders (and they cant tow like that.) And a little better than most hi performance computerised, fuel injected V6s
Let loose? why? whats to piont?
Well once or twice I will, either a social run down the strip, or somewhere out by myself and no one around.
Its not a boy racer car thu it can take them on...Its a Classic '69.
One doesnt need to prove anything to anyone. We know what it will do
Its been timed at 158mph over a measured distance, It used to run low 14sec 1/4 miles, with the new engune, conservally now estimated at mid 13 secs, dyno figers (new engine with about 20 miles up) shows well over 200hp @ 3800rpm at the back wheels..not even run in..
Just sit next to them at the lights is enough for the boy racers, and most others to just look...OH just the same as the Bradford. it pulls young and old alike...even thu it has a top speed of 55mph and cruise at 45 mph.
Currently building new engine/gearbox etc for the Braddy. _________________ My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'
Did you drive it when it was clocked 158mph? I would have been too scared!
Much over 110kph for me and I start to sweat!
My 2nd car was a 1971 Valiant Regal Coupe. I helped my father rebuild that car from the ground up. Entertained my father when I stripped another valiant for parts when I unbolted the bonnet on one side first & found a nasty headache brewing when it dropped on my head! I spent over $5000 on restoring it and then my father up and sold it on me (for only $2000!) without me even having a drive of it!
I passed a convoy of classics last week & my jaw was slack as every car (going the other direction) seemed to get more beautiful than the last!
Yes
Scared?? Fear is of the unknown...when track is in good condition, car is beyond up to std, checked and triple checked...all that remains of fear is enough to to have respect and not do anything stupid...like look at the speedometer...belive me at those speeds if anyone tells u "the needle was of the clock"...that split sec to look is very likly to send u off the road.
So one doesnt look.
I dont figure these boy racers and all their gauges...one cant read them, The old idiot lights..temp oilp pressure, if something goes wrong they flash and one sees A red light in perifial vision. Red light means stop. _________________ My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'
