I have had a lot of trouble of late with ants getting into my nest boxes. I even had some babies killed has they were hatching.

When I see them I spray them with mite spay and this seam to stop them for a couple of day, does anyone now of a better way to stop them?

There just the small common type of ant.

Ants breath via the pores in their skin. The cheapest and most effective way to kill them off is to simply use a cheap baby powder. Sprinkle the powder onto the ants and also on top of their nest. The worker ants breath the powder in and suffocate. Without worker ants the rest of the nest starves and dies very quickly. It is cheap and harmless for the birds. A pest control employee passed on this information. They charge around $200.00 to use exactly the same product.
