HI
I like to know if i can mix Kakarikis with other types of hookbills , I so far have pair of rosellas 4 cockatiels and 6 love birds . nice site very informative and interesting thanks

Hi w3c to our site.

Kakariki can be placed in large aviaries with cockatiels and some of the smaller neophema parrots such as scarlets and turqs. They are also fine with bourkes parrots. I would not house them with Rosellas or lovebirds as these parrots can become very aggressive during breeding season.

They are happy with larger parrots like Kings and crimsons

Thanks for the info .so it looks like i need to build another area for the kakarikis .I have been doing quite a bit of reading .and sometimes i get two different views and it is a little confusing .
in the end of the day I think what works for one might not work for the other . wall
