I think he speaks very clearly. Favourite sayings, "what are you doing", "what's the matter", "good morning" and he says a few other things you should be able to pick up.
I have never had a kakarki talk... its illegal in NZ to do so or keep as a pet...
Definaltly got a karariki 'accent' ...cliped and quick.
Very often this clipped ..in other species is caused by the teacher, speaking to quick and in a higher voice than normal
Watch ppl talk to a bird..its them that talk like a parrot...and a well trained parrot talks normal..
As time goes on parrots do become much clearer with their chatter.
I have no idea how this may relate to kakarki, because of nil experiance with talking kakariki...
just a thought...
But thats quite cool....so are your other videos there....
Great examples of kakariki as pets/house birds, and a very caring owner.
