Rather than a treatment scedule, we use a regular maintance program
Mist spray 50/50 vinegar about every 2 weeks
Check for worms regularly, and clean dose if needed..never had a issue with worms.
watch for feather loose, treat...also very rare and usually new birds in isolation.

50% vingar? Isn't that a lot? Doesnt that irritate their eyes? You use just a fine mist as you would do when spraying when it'swarm?

How do you check for worms, you need a microscope?

What do loose feathers indicate and what treatment do you use

The birds blnk a bit for a couple mintes, then start to lick the drops off the walls and perchs...over the yrs , never had any issues

I use a pump up garden sprayer that has a fine nozzle, the sort used to artifially pollent commercial grops

Checking for worms and what to use...covered in detail in older posts... run a ord search in the quick search block to the left

loose feathers or dropping...could be normal moult or mites...assuming diet is good, so not related to that
