I have a pair of kakarikis 1male 1 female
the female has layed her first over 3 weeks
ago but coz shes got 8 some are still needed
to be incubated but she has neally just stoped
siting on them its her first ever clutch so that
may have something to do with it?
can any 1 please reply and tell me whats going
on?
And im new only had my kaks 2months about.

Could be due to the parents being yong and/or 1st clutch
Most likely because something has upset them like checking nest box too often or with little warning/opening up too fast allowing too mch light fast, blinding them for a second or so
A very large expolsion or big thunder stom over head can also cause this

The default avatar is one of my orginal breeding males, now retired to being the dominate flock male.
