We have had this hen for about 18 months, she originally had another male but he died. This male is younger than the original one. He is making a funny clucking noise & if she comes out of the box she is very quick to hop back in. I haven't seen any "funny business" I intend to put another box in there as well. A bloke sugested I move the boxes around as this has helped his birds.
They are in a conventional aviary about 6' X 8'
Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted.

You may expect eggs very soon. The fact that she quickly returns to her nest is a sign that she is protecting the nest. The clucking noise means that the pair is in breeding mode.
