happy new year everyone sorry to be a pest but could anyone please tell me why that for the last cople of nights the dad and baby bird are not going in the night box they are both staying away from it there are no eggs inside but the hen is going in there we have tried putting baby in there but it just comes out again any advice please thankyou there is another box there for them but there not going init

The maybe getting ready to nest...
And generaly will not accept 'intruders'
Usually the males is allowed...but new chicks that have come out of the nest he also over sees for several weeks ....so he just stays out looking after the chick.
