hi folks
I'm sure the answer will be on hear some where but i dont know where Laughing
so could some one please tell me the size of a nest box for a pair of kakariki's and what time of year is there breeding season?

To the left is a "quick search " word box
There are a few older posts descibing the different nesting boxes, nesting material member they prefer, and construction method/materials.

Also in the gallery there are pics of nesting boxes and chicks.

Generally nesting boxes are put in the flight mid winter to very early spring
This varies as to local weather coniditions...ie sth NZ still has snow falling when we in the nth are planting out our gardens in Aug.
