Hi, I am new here. I acquired a male red-fronted kakariki a year ago. I just love these birds. He is 5 years old. Is he too old to find him a female, and breed??? Thanks.
No males breed till very old and are in good health.
Females like most animal, are born with X number of eggs, once these are used up, 'metapause' comes on and they stop breeding. _________________ My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'
