I have a Problem. One of my Kakariki starts to sing to 4 O'clock in the morning.....normal it's everything dark in them room...he souldn't sing....this make me some nervous.I still have another 3 Kakarikis in the cage, and they sleep calm, without singing until i open the light, they respect me ....please tell me what I can make?...everything started 2 months ago...befor was nothing
The only thing I can think of is maybe there is a someting in the room that disturbs him, or a neighbor goes to work.....something along those lines _________________ My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'
Does everyone cover their cages then? My mum wants me to get blackout blinds so my kakariki doesnt wake up so early but i'm worried its cruel as she loves bright sunny mornings and she would still be able to hear the birds outside as our windows are not very sound proof.
Its like children...it is not the time they go to bed that determins the time they get up
It is the time they get up that determines the time they go to bed
Hence why parents have so much trouble getting teenagers out of bed.
Birds are natures alarm clocks..sleeping in is a total waste of time that on looses forever. _________________ My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'
I've tried to cower the birds cage here at home, it works sometimes. ;D
My birds doesn't care about darkness - it can be really dark in the morning and I can still hear them run around and eat breakfast, take a bath and so on. They don't seem to be bothered at all.
One thing that has helped me is to place a bowl with nuts/seeds which they really like in the cage in the evening while they are sleeping. The next morning, they are too busy eating their favorite food that they don't think about screaming at all
Some of my birds love to sleep, others greet everyone in the house with a "friendly" morning song. Personally, I've gotten used to it and is able to sleep though the morning despite my singing birds, hopefully you will to :)
Otherwise, you can always try the nuts/seeds method ;D[/i]
