Think its called perks erm anyways
My kakariki recently a few months back got a major cage upgrade so naturally all came supersized and i dont think its cage related but recently one of them started to bite and hope not eat away one of the perks where they can stand play or whatever (the wooden thing) and its almost breaking in half
My worries is thats the top one so if he for some occasion gets the habit to go at it full square again its going to break and well we know what graivty does to that.
I was wondering if its natural behaviour and if i should remove the perk since well im going to need to replace it and need sorts of measurements since im in need to get a new one
If the woode dowel perched that come with cages, most ppl throw them away and use small branches that have fallen of a tree _________________ My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'
yeah i meant perch sorry about that . Uh well see a bit tad hard to find branches from tree to fit in the cage, considering most tree in the vicinity are sort of enormous so the branches would be either to small or too large
Ill try to take a picture in the morning with the perch bitten off. Had to replace it since its well going to be broken otherwise. Luckily their old cage had 4 small perches that i could put on the top but are restricted to the corners
