2, karori wildllife sanctuary, otari scenic researve, and a public track in brooklyn i have heard of sightings at all these places, the third is unconfirmed but the other two are definate. The karori wildlife sanctuary reported a pair of red crown that also had a nest of about 4 or 5 chicks but unfortunatley they died in a storm we had pity because i cant wate for them to start breeding there, i live in the aerea so will see them once they spill over the fence.
