Hi Guys, 1 lot of my Kaks had 6 eggs looks as though she has abbaned them because she isnt in there much. Just wondering do people check the nesting boxes to see how many eggs & babies when they arrive ?? or just leave them to it, i think that might be a problem with me checking not sure though, any help would be great.

We have been talking about this over the last few days, a current thread
http://www.kakariki.net/ftopic-2218-days0-orderasc-0.html

A new pair, leave them be, have a peek once a week, then once they feel safe, raised a batch in those surroundings...got used to you, one can even take a chick out and they will feed it in your hand.

Make use of the "quick Search" block on the left...nearly 10 yrs of info in these forums.
