Hiya all, allow me to Introduce myself real quick - Im Chris living in Malta and has ever owned Cockatiels and Budgies.
Recently a neighbor of mine came round and asked me if I would adopt 2 Kakarikis. According to him they are brother and sister, and basically the father died while they were still in the nest and the hen started killing the chicks.
I have managed to hand raise them so far, and been keeping them as pets for almost 9 months. So their age is round about 10 to 11 months.
First and fore most I have no idea how to identify a male from a female, and secondly I was just wondering what is the basic required to attempt breeding kakarikis.
I am well aware having a brother and a sister (if they even are so) is not the ideal of course, but I'm just wondering to see if it's worth taking a stab at breeding these pretty interesting little fellas.

everything u need to know is in these forums...
From diet , any why thru to how to breed by inbreeding successfully, hybrids mutations compatibility with other species
