Got five eggs now in the space of a week. Have checked them (as per instruction) as weren't sure about them since our male has only been in the cage with our female for about a week and a half. Two of the eggs are very clear with a yellowy patch (I assume these are the newer eggs laid) A third one is not so clear but still with a yellow patch. The fourth is darker and the last very dark indeed.
Does it look more hopeful that our eggs are indeed viable and that we may surely have some chicks on the way? Pray
As per usual all and any advice and suggestions are w3c.

Ps - Site Admins?

Why on the home page, when I see my name, do I have a different flag other than a UK one??? I know this is not related in any way but we were curious. Laughing

Dusty,

Clear (infertile) eggs will appear "clear" at the top with a yellow yoke at the bottom. If the eggs are fertile they will be much darker in apperance and with the use of a candling torch you should also see blood veins starting to appear.

From you description so far I would suggest you may have fertility in some of the eggs and things may be happening for you. Leave things as they are and keep your fingers crossed. Perhaps you should have had that talk to your birds about "staying single"

lmao lmao lmao lmao

Hmm....well Im not a coder, I have coded this block (and most of the other blocks and modules I have coded/custom coded ) and it has a couple bugs, I know where they are (I think) but dont know how to fix.
What happens is your correct flag comes up, but if another member comes in, all the flags change to the last member.
So if anyone is familar with php coding and php nuke, the clean up of the code and fixing the bug in this block would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Admin
