Is it possible that if your have a couple yellow fronted kaka’s breeding is more difficulty or is it the same?
I had a quantity of red fronted kaka's nests, but it seems that the yellow fronted have more trouble with it.
The holding and the nests are the same as the red fronted kaka’s.
Does anyone have breeding experience with the yellow fronted kakariki ?.

Yeah the reds breed far more freely...
Last yr we got nothing from the yellows...even had problems getting them to pair off...
The yr before was better, and the yrs before that even better, but no where as good as the reds..

Our issue is getting them to pair off ...the males seem to be far more fussy as to who they have for a female..
Tried alsorts of stuff, like 1 male several females, intoduced new stock.
This Autumn put all the breeding yellows in 1 flight (winter here now) and let them choose....2 males and 3 females

It seems that the yellows have more problems to choose a good partner.
Funny, I didn't now that, but I notice that already by my couple Yellows.
So I have token another male by the female and they are feeding now each other <v> .
