I am new to site and kaks. I have 2 females and a male they are doing the noises and calling the male and he tries this has been going on for 2 weeks we put in a nexting box and he is feeding them and trying but, to no avail we have no eggs the guy that we got them from told us that they would be ready to breed in a month and the month was up two month's ago please help need to know what i am doing wrong here Thanks :oops:

Hiya!

you're not doing nothing wrong, they just take their time. There are some other similar posts with similar stories you can read.

I have a pair that kept mating for 2 months before laying any eggs, another pair is raising their first clutch after +/- 4 months together.

With kakariki you might be lucky and they may breed straight away... but sometimes they take their time. Just be patient.

Thank you I thought I was doing something wrong i was even going to tke one of the females out Iwas frustrated I will wait time will tell
